An experience we will never forget
March 24, 2012

Luang Prabang is large enough for a several day excursion and small enough for a scenic ride. Lets discover the most romantic city of Indochina with a bike.

Detailed program

Luang Prabang off the beaten track - Ock Pop Tock (L)

We will take you to explore the back roads of Luang Prabang, Laos' UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see parts of Luang Prabang where only few tourists know.

Our half-day bike trip will take you to the secret wetlands of the town, its richly decorated centuries old temples, a high school college campus, and an orphanage school. At the orphanage school, you will visit a small gallery and vegetable gardens managed by disadvantaged children. Before going back to the town, we drop by the Ock Pop Tock weaving centre, an East Meets West Foundation project. You will see silkworms and natural dyes, meet and talk with the weavers while they are transforming raw silk into beautiful textiles. You may also shop many fine silk items in the centre's gallery. Expect to be back at your hotel around 1.30 pm. The trails are mostly flat and 95% paved roads.

NotePlease provide us with health status, body length and gender of each person in your group, and we will arrange the best suitable bikes for you.
